Bulgaria is the third largest country in south-eastern Europe with an estimated 7.7 million people.
The climate is temperate overall.
The terrain is mostly mountainous reaching 2,925 m (9600 ft) with a 378 km (235 mi) Black Sea coastline.
Our visit in early Sept. was made enjoyable by the wonderful climate and wonderful people.
However, the seemingly unconrolled resort development is worrisome.
