Amazilia is after an Inca heroine in
the french novel “Les Incas, Ou, La
Destruction De L’empire Du Pérou”;
candida in Latin means shining or
pure white.
The Cuban bee hummingbird
weighs as little as 1.8 grams.
You could mail sixteen of
them for the price of a single
postage stamp.
