Sericornis is Greek for silken bird.
Frontalis is Latin for eyebrow.
Evidence to suggest that songbirds evolved
50 million years ago in the part of
Gondwana that later became Australia,
New Zealand, New Guinea and Antarctica,
before spreading around the world.
