Now considered to be an Old World
               flycatcher...breeds in Siberia, winters
               in Thailand, India and Indonesia.
          
         
            
               Hurricanes and global warming have
               caused bird eruptions (i.e., departure
               of birds from their normal range) such
               as the spotting of a Siberian
               Rubythroat outside Lerwick in
               Shetland a few years ago.
