Bunche Beach Preserve
San Carlos Bay

Breed up a crow and
he‘ll pick out your eyes.
    (Proverb)
Even the blackest of them all, the crow,
  Renders good service as your man-at-arms,
    Crushing the beetle in his coat of mail,
      And crying havoc on the slug and snail.
       (Henry Wadsworth Longfellow)
Hard to tell from American Crow but
voice is different...and may be more
resistant to West Nile Virus.
Corvus in Latin means raven;
ossifragus is Latin for bone-breaking.
